In connection with World Day against Child Labour 2016, the Central Board of Secondary Education joined hands with affiliated schools to raise awareness among students and their local communities about child labour by conducting various project competitions. The competitions were conducted between June 12 and August 12, 2016.

Amrita Vidyalayam Davangere won a prize in Nukkad natak (skit) based on the topic, “Human Rights and Social Justice for Child Workers”, and Amrita Vidyalayam Durgapur won a prize for “Literacy Project for Child Workers”.

The winners will be awarded certificates individually.
