A workshop series was organized by Amrita Vidyalayam Head Office to enhance the English communication skills of our teachers. Separate sessions were arranged for teachers from North, Central and South Zone Amrita Vidyalayam schools. The workshops were held online in the month of April 2021 by Ms. Amrita Pushpa, who has more than 20 years of experience teaching and training in the US.

The main aim of this workshop was to make English conversation an integral part of the classroom along with daily lessons, as even small improvements in spoken English practiced regularly can produce lasting results. Keeping this in mind, Ms. Amrita Pushpa spoke to the teachers about the required tools and strategies to be implemented in the classroom. She also stressed the importance of time management, preparing lesson plans, etc. Overall, it was a very valuable interactive session for our teachers.
