Amritavarshini. S, Std X of Amrita Vidyalayam, Arakkiland, Vadakara, Kozhiokode (Dt) got the third position in Lakhubhashanam (short speech- category IX – XII) competition held by CBSE in connection with the Sanskrit Week Celebration from Thriuvananthapuram Region. Union Minister, Smt. Smriti Irani gave away the prize in a function held at Delhi on 13/08/2014. The prestigious award consists of a cash prize of Rs. 2000/-, a certificate and a medal.

From Delhi Region, Amrita. G. Nair of Std IX of Amrita Vidyalayam, Saket, Delhi, got the first prize of Rs. 5000/-, certificate and a medal.
