The Central Board of Secondary Education conducted a Kabaddi Tournament in the Cluster VI level (Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry & Andaman) from October 3 to 5, 2016 at Amrita Vidyalayam, Chennai.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Nallampalayam Kabaddi team participated in the tournament in the under 19 category. With the grace of our beloved Amma, the girls’ team won the tournament and have qualified for the Nationals to be held at New Delhi.  Selvi Subhashree of Grade 9 has bagged the Best Player award in the tournament.
