The school has a very active and strong sports wing. The AV Kodungallur volleyball team has been a consistent finalist in the state level volleyball competitions. A well networked fleet of school vehicles, that ply to and fro for the day scholars on convenient routes, also makes learning a pleasure.

As always, this year the students of this pioneer school went exploring and enjoying with their staff. Students were taken to Dream World, Chalakkudy, an amusement park, with a host of activities for the children to indulge in healthily with their friends.

The students experienced a day of pure enjoyment under the sun, with water sports, a mock sky lift, rafting and water skating—just name the sport and it was there waiting for the kids! It was a sight to see the captivated children moving in utter confusion as they tried to decide which ride to try first.

It was one such rare day when nothing was out of place—the ambience, the company, the caretakers, even the food! Even the teachers were not immune to the spirit and mood of the day. Between closely watching the kids for their safety one could find them indulging in the rides themselves.

A good life is nothing but a collection of good memories. Wherever life may take us— however many chances of amusement one may be presented with—times spent with friends when young remain as fresh and cherished memories in our hearts forever. We hope the students and staff alike were each given such memories to carry a long way in their hearts.
