On August 1st, 2013, Amma handed over Rs. 11 lakhs collected from the staff and students of all Kerala Amrita Vidyalayam schools to Dr. Indira Rajan, Secretary, Kerala CBSE schools Management Association during darshan. As a token of collecting such a big amount, they felicitated our schools by presenting a memento during a function at Trivandrum, while handing over the collection from all CBSE schools to Dr. Sashi Taroor​, Union minister of state for HRD.
